Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: Action required for connections using API v1.0
Due to Microsoft removing API v1.0 in its Business Central 2026 release wave 1 (version 28.0 and newer), we have updated the app's connection settings to help guide users to the correct API version.
Action may be required to keep your scenarios running. Scenarios with connections manually configured to use the retired /api/v1.0/ endpoint will fail.
What's changing?
Microsoft has removed API v1.0 for Business Central. While the Make app's default connection configuration already uses the current API v2.0, any connections that were manually set to use the /api/v1.0/ endpoint will no longer work.
To prevent errors, we have added help text to the connection settings to clarify which API version should be used.
What do you need to do?
To ensure your scenarios continue to run, please check your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central connections and update them if necessary:
- In your scenarios, locate your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules and click to edit the connection.
- In the connection settings, check the Endpoint field.
- If the field is set to /api/v1.0/, you must update it to /api/v2.0/.
