API key

click on your username at the bottom of the left sidebar select profile click the api access tab api access tab click the add token button enter a label for your token and select the necessary scopes you can review the scopes in the {{product name}} api documentation click the save button to confirm your selections copy your new api key to your clipboard and store it in a safe place this is the only time when you can see the whole api key the api key is required to set up the vs code extension your {{product name}} api keys are listed in your profile in the api access tab where you can view and manage your api keys
