Google Gemini AI model removals, expanded Airtable modules, Gemini 4 Argon in Vertex AI, OpenAI and other updates
Here's a quick look at our app updates this week.
OpenAI (DALL-E & GPT) app adds support for new GPT Image 2.6 models
We've updated the OpenAI (DALL-E & GPT) app to include OpenAI's latest image models: GPT Image 2.6 Sunburst for detailed visual work and GPT Image 2.6 Flare for fast iteration.
These new models bring powerful capabilities to the Generate an Image and Edit an Image modules.
Updated modules
- Generate an Image: When using the new GPT Image 2.6 models, you can now:
- Control image complexity: Use the new Complexity setting (low, medium, or high) to manage how much the model plans an image before rendering.
- Create vector images: Generate images in SVG format, perfect for designs that need to scale without losing quality.
- Produce animated GIFs: Create simple animations directly by setting the desired frame count and duration.
- Edit an Image: In addition to supporting the new models and the Complexity setting, you can now perform more precise edits with:
- Markup-guided edits: Upload a transparent PNG file as a Markup layer to guide the model's edits, giving you finer control over changes. This feature is also available for GPT Image 2.5 models.

Google Gemini AI: deprecated models removed
The Google Gemini AI app now aligns with Google's recent model changes.
What's changing
The following deprecated models are removed from the model selection lists in the Generate a response, Extract structured data, and Simple text prompt modules:
- gemini-3.5-flash
- gemini-3.7-flash
Impact on your scenarios
No action is required for your existing scenarios to continue running.
Google automatically routes requests for these deprecated models to their newer equivalents (gemini-3.6-flash and gemini-3.8-flash), so your automations continue to work without interruption.
If you edit a module that was configured with one of these deprecated models, the model selection field appears empty. Choose a new model from the updated list to save your changes.

Facebook Pages: deprecated fields removed
The Facebook Pages app now aligns with Meta's recent API changes. Make removed several fields that Meta deprecated to prevent scenario errors.
Updated modules
Get a Page and Update Page Details: The following deprecated fields are removed from these modules: current_location, genre, network, parking, and start_info. This change ensures your scenarios run without interruption and resolves errors that occurred when working with pages that use Meta's New Pages Experience.

Airtable: expanded modules
The Airtable app now includes 12 new modules for comments, schema management, and attachments. Build more of your Airtable workflow into the same scenario as your record logic. To learn more about the app, see Airtable.
What's new
Comments
- Create a comment: Adds a comment to a record.
- Update a comment: Edits an existing comment on a record.
- Delete a comment: Removes a comment from a record.
- List comments: Retrieves the comments on a record.
- Watch new comments: A polling trigger that starts a scenario when someone adds a comment to a record.
Schema
- List bases: Returns a list of Airtable bases that your connection can access.
- Create a base: Creates a new Airtable base.
- Create a table: Adds a table to a base.
- Update a table: Changes the properties of an existing table.
- Create a field: Adds a field to a table.
- Update a field: Changes the properties of an existing field.
- Get a base schema: Retrieves the structure of a base so you can use it in later scenario steps.
Attachments
- Upload an attachment: Uploads a file to an Airtable record. Find it in the Records group.
Improvements
- Guided filtering in Search Records: Select a column name, operator, and value, then combine conditions with AND and OR. You can still use Airtable formulas when needed.
Availability: Available on all Make plans, including Free.
Google Vertex AI: Gemini 4 Argon model and more tools
The Google Vertex AI app now supports Google's new Gemini 4 Argon model and gives you access to more tools when you work with Gemini 4 models in your scenarios.
Updated modules
- Multiple modules: The new Gemini 4 Argon model is now available in the Model dropdown for the following modules: Create a Chat Prompt, Analyze Image/Video (legacy), Generate an Image Caption, and Generate an Answer for an Image.
- Create a Chat Prompt: You can now use the URL Context and Google Maps tools with any Gemini 4 model, including Gemini 4 Argon.

Google Ads: increased module timeout
The Google Ads app now has a longer timeout to prevent scenarios from failing due to slow responses from the Google Ads API.
Updated modules
All modules: The timeout limit for API requests is now 300 seconds. This gives your scenarios more time to complete and reduces timeout errors when you work with large campaigns or complex reports.

YouTube: increased reliability for the Upload a Video module
The YouTube app now improves the reliability of the Upload a Video module.
Updated module
Upload a Video: The upload process for this module is rebuilt. Previously, Make sent video files and their metadata (such as title, description, and privacy status) in two separate steps. This could intermittently cause the metadata update to fail and leave a video on your YouTube channel without its proper settings. The module now sends the video and all its metadata in a single request. This resolves the intermittent failures and ensures your videos upload exactly as you configure them in your scenario.

Crossbeam: app fixes
The following issues are resolved in the Crossbeam app. To learn more about the app, see Crossbeam.
- Search modules: An issue that prevented the List Partners, List Partner Populations, List Populations, and Search Records modules from returning more than the default number of results is resolved. These modules now retrieve all items based on the limit you set.
- Population modules: Previously missing fields are added to the output of several modules:
- The List Partner Populations and Get a Partner Population modules now provide the Segment and Partner ID (organization_uuid) fields.
- The List Populations and Get a Population modules now provide the Segment field.
Gmail: minor app update
The internal help documentation link in the Create a Draft, Reply to an Email, and Send an Email modules is updated. This is a technical update and does not change how these modules work. To learn more about the app, see Gmail.
